Activity heatmaps
See when your Discord server is most active
A heatmap of the weekday and the hour shows when your members post and talk. Log in with Discord to open the Activity page. Small groups are hidden, so nobody can be picked out.

Weekday by hour: when your server is busiest
The Activity page of your server draws one cell for every hour of every weekday. A darker cell means more messages or more voice time in that hour, summed over the range you pick.
Choose messages, voice time or both, and a range of 7, 30 or 90 days. Longer ranges are there for Premium servers. A button switches the same numbers to a text table.
Times are in the server's own time zone, and the page says which one, so the busiest hour reads in the hour your members live in.
Activity
Busiest hour: Saturday 22:00 UTC, 48h 24m over 12 weeks.
Built so nobody can be picked out
The heatmap is shown only when at least 10 different members were active. An hour that fewer than 5 different members contributed to is hidden, and a hidden cell is never drawn as zero.
Members who hide their activity details with /odin privacy details:hide, and members who opted out, are left out of the pattern for everyone. It shows no member and no channel.
What the server heatmap needs
To be shown
- At least 10 active members
- 5 different members for each cell
Never in it
- A member's name or picture
- A channel name or id
- Members who hide their details or opted out
Your own pattern stays yours
Every member has a pattern too: their own activity by hour of the day and by weekday. It is shown only to that member on the dashboard, and nobody else sees it.
It counts your messages and voice time with the same rules as the rest of ODIN: /odin optout stops the counting for you in that server, and /odin privacy hides your activity details from other members in every server at once.

Frequently asked questions
How do I see when my Discord server is most active?
Log in with Discord and open the Activity page of your server. It draws a heatmap of the weekday and the hour, for messages, for voice time or for both, over a range of days you choose.
Why is my server's heatmap empty or full of hidden cells?
The heatmap is shown only when at least 10 different members were active, and an hour that fewer than 5 different members contributed to is hidden, never drawn as zero. A small or quiet server fills in as more members join in.
Can other members see my own activity pattern?
No. A member's own activity by hour and weekday is shown only to that member on the dashboard. The server heatmap never shows a member, and members who hide their activity details or opted out are left out of it.
Which time zone does the heatmap use?
The Activity page uses the server's own time zone and says which one above the chart. The server stats page and the public page show their weekday and hour patterns in UTC, and a chart caption always names its zone.
How far back can a free server look?
A free server sees ranges up to 90 days. Longer ranges need Premium, and the page marks them as locked. Every range shows the same view as a text table if you prefer to read the numbers.
